Well, when I started this, it was because I felt "pushed" to do so and I figured that information would be forthcoming. But it hasn't been that easy. First, I started looking at the Goddess forms that I thought of as ancient. Sekhmet and Hecate in particular. (Personal preference.) Then somehow Baba Yaga rounded the corner and surprised the heck out of me. Let me tell you, that is some serious Crone energy!!! I was even gifted with sunset clouds forming a perfect picture of the Maiden presenting a "bowl" to the Crone... who looked an awful lot like Baba! chuckle Down to the details of scarves and shawls. Amazing experience.
But I knew I still wasn't getting what this spot is about. So I waited some more. Heard some news that created a huge shift in how I viewed my future. Most of us plan ahead a bit. Dreaming of what we want to do, where we'll live, etc.. And I'm no exception to that. But now I need to seriously look at stepping out of habit and most of my comfort zones. So of course, I ask for assistance from the Great Mother! And all those who wish me well! Blessings, Protection and Guidance. I need them..... more so than ever. If I don't get an answer, or hear one.... that's ok. I just keep asking and giving Thanks.
The first thing that I realized was that this blog is like an altar. Or should I say, it IS an altar. And I'm slowly drawing together what I need to place here. Energy can be raised and sent out from this "spot". Nope. I don't really understand the mechanics of it all. Don't even pretend to! I'm going along on Trust and Faith here.
Then today during my morning prayers I was reminded of an audience I once had with Mother Mary. Yes, that Mary! No, I'm not a catholic. Never was.... at least not in this lifetime. There were a few past lives where I was. That might actually count, considering the circumstances! Hmmm, will have to consider that one further. Anyway, I realized that since I had a very strong connection there.... I'd better pay attention and utilize it! So I've asked Mother Mary for help. I know that She hears me and that She has been keeping an eye on me! I STILL haven't started drawing those angel pictures yet. And that is definitely a big part of my walk in this life.
So I wasn't surprised when I came in from my prayers and immediately got a message about the angels. I WAS a bit stunned when I started getting info about the Ancient Mothers. Guess I shouldn't have been, but I'd fallen into that trap of categorizing things according to belief systems and religions. Silly me! I've been directly informed that a person's religious and/or spiritual path doesn't make any difference on the other side. Its all about what is in your heart!
Lesson learned. At least for now. And "yes", the energy here is for saving and healing our Mother Earth. That I'm completely clear on! Its the details that I'm figuring out as I go.
